The Modern Omega bracelets used on Seamasters and Speedmasters are superbly made but quickly attract scratches and scuffs through normal wear, particularly on the clasp.

After a few years the bracelet starts to look tired and shabby.

We offer a case and bracelet refubishment service for Omega models, using Omega specified tools.

Correct refinishing involves the skilled use of polishing wheels, mops, brush wheels and special compounds to achieve a factory look finish.

The tools we use range from miniature hard felts in mini drills right up to large power driven wheels for heavy material removal.

We also use a number of special machine mounted abrasives and special masking tapes to achieve the correct contrasting brushed and highly polished finishes.

The Modern Seamaster clasp takes a battering in normal wear due to it's large size and outwardly bevelled profile. The picture left shows the clasp and bracelet following refurbishment.

Where the case or bracelet has very heavy nicks, scratches or gouges, we cannot restore the surface to as new condition without removing a significant amount of metal which would harm both the originality, and sharp profile of the bracelet or case. This is particularly important where etched or embossed designs reside in the metal like on the Seamaster Professional logo (right). In these cases we have no alternative but to leave some of the underlying marks underneath the new brushed finish, although these are much reduced leading to a significant improvement in appearance.

Multi stage refinishing

This high res image shows what can be achieved with a very scuffed bracelet. Look closely at the image and you'll see where we have left one or two underlying scratches. These are completely invisible to all but the closest scrutiny and the overall appearance is of a new watch.

The bracelet is refinished in several stages allowing contrasting finsihed between highly polished and satinised brushed areas. the application of brushing is applied by a bespoke machine in a perfectly linear plane which could not be achieved by hand..
