DESCRIPTION:Universal Geneve gents manual wind watch c.1960s. Heavy 40 micron gold plated case in superb original condition, no significant wear, stainless steel screw back, signed Universal Geneve to inside cover. The beautifully crafted domed and two tone silver dial is original with some even ageing expected at this vintage, gold accents and hands. Crystal is polished and unblemished, crown is signed H.S believed to be the supplying retailer mark H. Samuel or possibly a replacement. The movement is Universal signed calibre 332 which has been serviced. Stunning piece from a top drawer Swiss maker with a long heritage.
